This is the first part of the lecture series on ¡ÇPsycology and Physiology for Human Interface¡Ç, and it gives the basic knowledges on the characteristics of human cognitives at human-machine interface, mainly for the area of process control. The contents are divided into the four chapters; (1)The definition of ¡Çinterface field¡Ç and the three ways of understanding human factors at the interface field, (2)Characteristics of human cognitives at human-machine interface, (3)Understanding of human error at interface from cognitive psychology, and (4)Understanding human error from the aspect of system safety.
