Abstract

Augmented Reality is a promising technology that will improve the efficiency and safety of nuclear power plant maintenance work. To apply Augmented Reality to maintenance work, various studies must be done, such as improvement of tracking technology, improvement of the user interface and human-centered evaluation of the Augmented Reality system. The authors have conducted several studies of these issues for almost five years. This paper presents results of some of these studies.
