Abstract

To make it easy to construct a virtual environment, it is desirable to simulate a virtual environment based on the physical laws. But the computational cost of the physical simulation is very large, so an expensive super computer is necessary to simulate the virtual environment in real time. In this study, a parallel processing method is developed to simulate a physically based virtual environment on a PC cluster and the performance of the parallel processing method is evaluated by conducting some experiments.
