Recent progress of the proving test on the reliability of electrical equipment and instrumentation is reviewed in this paper which has been conducted at NUPEC (Nuclear Power Engineering Testing Center) as a part of proving test program for Japanese nuclear power plant facilities under the guidance of MITI (Ministry of International Trade and Industry).
Described are the basic testing guidelines, enviromental conditions fo those testing devices, brief explanation of testing facilities and some of the test results which have been analyzed upto now.
