Our country is facing the serious concerns of rapid aging and very low birthrate. One of important issues is to realize an affluent and vigorous society where every citizen can live healthy life comfortably with peace in mind. There, he shall continue to improve living habits, to prevent lifestyle-related diseases and to promote health actively. When having an illness, it is important for him to manage himself for his sickness at home, as well as to be treated in the hospital. In order that an individual will pursue good health or manage himself for his sickness at home, a system of the preventive health checkup and a home service is required. The former is the system that makes an individual be continuously able to self-supervise his health at home according to the result of a health check. The latter is the service that offers proper counseling for health care and disease prevention at home. Based on the above perspective, a survey has been conducted on specific requirements for a preventive checkup system to be applicable to home health care, a service to be able to provide and measures to put these into practice.
