Abstract


Recently, highly advanced information technology and diversification of individual preference requires a large item small volume production method, instead of conventional mass production. However, because of the difficulty to automate such production method, human workers conduct the assembly work in reality, and the efficiency of the production cannot be improved. In this study, aiming at supporting such production method, a support system has been developed for assembly work of electronic print board as a concrete work, which automatically recognizes the position of the print board and assembling status by a video camera and directly projects the assembling information on the print board by a laser beam according to the assembling status.
