The final disposal of HLW produced by nuclear power generation is one of the significant social
issues in Japan. However, this theme among general public remains unfamiliar. Therefore, we designed the web
communication model and the discussion board system to enhance the reality of this theme and close the communication
gap between specialists and public. This research aims to enhance a better sense of involvement and
social collaboration by creating an interactive communication, promoting emotional acceptance and independent
thinking with web system.
